Hollydays Art and Gift Market, presented by Junior League of Louisville, is taking place this weekend and is a great place to get some of your holiday shopping done! This is the place to find the perfect gift for everyone on your list while avoiding hectic holiday lines at the mall!

The weekend starts off today, Friday, November 30th with general admission shopping from 9-5 with tickets being $5. Uptown Art and Paint Spot will also have items available to paint and create! Later in the evening, take a break and enjoy "Candy Canes and Cocktails: Girls Night Out"! Tickets, which are $15, include a variety of appetizers donated by Zoe's Kitchen, Tumbleweed, Cabott Creamery and Earth Fare. This also includes two drinks tickets for Pama or Falls City and a swag bag compliments of Cafe Press, filled with all sorts of goodies!

On Saturday, start your day with general admission shopping and enjoy a variety of special events throughout the day! From 10-2 guests enjoy a Princess Tea Party sponsored by Christmas at the Galt House, where you can bring your little princess to meet the Galt House's Snow Fairy Princess and enjoy some cooking, decorating and fun!

Events at Locust Grove

There are several events at historic Locust Grove throughout the holiday season, beginning the day after Thanksgiving. Visitors can be treated to events such as the Locust Grove Holiday Sampler, Candlelight Christmas at Locust Grove and Christmas Pastorale.

On Friday, November 23rd, spend the day exploring the region's heritage! Costumed demonstrators will be in the kitchen and wood shop from 12-4 p.m. and visitors can even do some of their holiday shopping! The museum store will be having a sale with all items 20% off regular price. All of the day's events are included in the regular admission price of $8 for general admission, $4 for children 6-12 and free for children under 6 and members.

Another event to mark on your calendar is the Candlelight Christmas, taking place on Friday, December 7th and Saturday, December 8th. Visitors get to experience Locust Grove under the warm flow of lights! This wonderful family events takes you back to an earlier time as guests tour Locust Grove by candlelight. Refreshments and children's craft activities are available as well!

If you're in the musical spirit, allow the Locust Grove Chamber Players to take you on a musical journey inspired by the shepherds of Europe and early America - including Silent Night in its original 1811 version. The Chamber Music series allows guests to experience music much as the Croghans and Clarks would have, in the Great Parlor of the 1790s historic house!

Juno Award Winning Musicians to Perform at the Clifton Center
